King Charles is open today Thursday 9th January for all year groups.

Students and staff must take great care when making their way to school as after the recent snowfall roads and pavements may be a cause for concern and should only be travelled if families and individuals consider it safe to do so in their particular circumstances.

A huge thank you to all of the Post-16 providers who joined us this evening. It was fantastic to see our students engaging in meaningful conversations, asking questions alongside their parents and carers, and exploring the opportunities available to them after Year 11. Thank you also to all of the parents, carers, and students who attended and made the evening such a success. For our Year 10 students and families, the event was a great opportunity to communicate our expectations and share guidance on the support available as students begin their GCSE journey. Casual Exam Invigilator opportunity at Lacon Childe School (term time only) £14.87 per hour (including holiday allowance) We are looking for Casual Exam Invigilators to support our Exams Officer throughout the academic year but primarily between May and mid-June. Invigilators are responsible for ensuring the appropriate procedures are completed during exams and full training will be provided. What a great training session today! 🏐 A massive shout-out to Tilly (Y7), who came to training with no previous experience and, by the end of the session, was taking part in a 7v7 game with some of our older students! Her confidence and progress were amazing to see. The Year 7 tournament is just a couple of weeks away, and we can’t wait to welcome even more players to training next week.
