Students and staff must take great care when making their way to school as after the recent snowfall roads and pavements may be a cause for concern and should only be travelled if families and individuals consider it safe to do so in their particular circumstances.

🎉 What a fantastic day for our Year 7 students! 🎉 Today, Year 7 enjoyed a wonderful day together, taking part in a fantastic walk before rounding off the celebrations with a disco and BBQ. It was a brilliant opportunity for students to have fun, make memories and strengthen friendships as part of the Lacon Childe community. A huge thank you goes to Mr Jordan and the entire Year 7 Tutor Team for their hard work, enthusiasm and excellent organisation in making the day such a success. Events like these don’t happen without a great deal of planning and dedication, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do for our students. Casual Exam Invigilator opportunity at Lacon Childe School (term time only) £14.87 per hour (including holiday allowance) We are looking for Casual Exam Invigilators to support our Exams Officer throughout the academic year but primarily between May and mid-June. Invigilators are responsible for ensuring the appropriate procedures are completed during exams and full training will be provided.
