This recognition reflects the dedication of our staff, the strength of our safeguarding culture, and our ongoing commitment to ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and able to thrive.

LACON ARE COUNTY CHAMPIONS!
On Monday, our KS3 mixed rounders and KS4 girls rounder team travelled to Charlton School, Telford to compete in the county tournament after their District victories! It was a long day full of skill, commitment and a celebratory McDonald’s after our KS4 team came 1st in their tournamnet! The girls’ team beat Thomas Adams, Idsall and narowly lost to Charlton School. Fantastic performance from all players, with Mrs Traylor’s Most Valuable Player going to Lara for hard work in batting and fielding, adapting well to all her positions and demonstrating great determination. Our KS3 team came 4th overall and Sophia was recognised by the Rounders England umpires for her skill and sportsmanship thorughout the tournament. The KS4 team will travel to Hinckley on Thursday 25th to represent Shropshre in the National Rounders competition. Good luck girls! We are so proud of you! #commitment #represent #laconme

Yesterday, students from across the Trust came together for the very first BIG Speak competition—and what a success it was! 🎤
After weeks of preparation, our speakers shared passionate and thought-provoking ideas on a wide range of topics, impressing judges from Worcester Uni and beyond.
We’re incredibly proud of our students—Isla was runner-up for Lacon, and a huge congratulations to Ruby, crowned overall Trust winner, earning £25 in vouchers with an outstanding speech on youth crime!
A fantastic day filled with confidence, ambition, and even a slice of pizza to celebrate!
