King Charles is open today Thursday 9th January for all year groups.

Students and staff must take great care when making their way to school as after the recent snowfall roads and pavements may be a cause for concern and should only be travelled if families and individuals consider it safe to do so in their particular circumstances.

Please report any absences in the usual way.

We have continued to review the weather for next week. Although it is predicted to be a little cooler, we are still expecting hot temperatures. Students can therefore continue to wear their PE kit if they wish to do so. We will continue review the uniform during the week. Please note tight cycling/ hot pant style shorts are not permitted. Please ensure all children bring a refillable water bottle with them this week, and sun cream is applied before school. Hats are advisable for time spent outdoors.

✨ A fantastic and thought-provoking day for our Year 7, 8 and 9 students! ✨ We were delighted to welcome Eleni C from Inner Spark, who delivered an engaging and insightful talk about the positive and negative impacts of social media. Eleni encouraged students to think critically about what they see online and understand that not everything on social media reflects reality. Using real-life examples, she shared practical advice and strategies to support everyday mental health and wellbeing. There was a real buzz around school following the session, with students discussing the important messages they had learned. A huge thank you to Eleni and Inner Spark for taking the time to visit our school and inspire our students. #elevate #lovelacon
