CELEBRATING SUCCESS
TEACHING AND LEARNING
✨ A fantastic and thought-provoking day for our Year 7, 8 and 9 students! ✨
We were delighted to welcome Eleni C from Inner Spark, who delivered an engaging and insightful talk about the positive and negative impacts of social media.
Eleni encouraged students to think critically about what they see online and understand that not everything on social media reflects reality. Using real-life examples, she shared practical advice and strategies to support everyday mental health and wellbeing.
There was a real buzz around school following the session, with students discussing the important messages they had learned.
A huge thank you to Eleni and Inner Spark for taking the time to visit our school and inspire our students. #elevate #lovelacon

Year 7 had an absolutely fantastic day today with Hit the Dhol! 🥁
They learned all about this amazing instrument and had great fun creating a variety of exciting rhythms and sounds. There were even some football-inspired chants that got everyone involved and added to the excitement!
A huge thank you to Tony for bringing such incredible energy, enthusiasm and fun to every session. The smiles, engagement and enjoyment from our students said it all!

Warm Weather Arrangements
Due to the warm weather, students are welcome to wear their PE kit for the remainder of the week. Students may also choose to wear their regular school uniform if they prefer. Please note that blazers are not required.
✅ PE Kit
If students choose to wear their PE kit, please ensure it is the correct school PE kit. Alternative shorts are not permitted; students must wear the official school PE shorts.
💧 Water Bottles
Please ensure your child arrives at school each day with a refillable water bottle. We are actively encouraging students to stay hydrated throughout the day, and having a water bottle is essential.
🧴 Sun Cream
Please make sure your child applies sun cream before coming to school and brings it with them to reapply as needed during the day. Please note that school staff are unable to provide sun cream.
🧢 Hats
We encourage students to bring a hat to wear outdoors during breaktimes and lunchtime for additional protection from the sun.
🏫 Cool Spaces
As part of our warm weather arrangements, the hall will continue to be available during breaktimes and lunchtime as a cool space for any students who wish to use it.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our students safe, comfortable, and ready to learn during the warm weather.
...
A reminder that due to the warm weather forecast this week, students are not required to wear their blazers. We will let you know as soon as this changes.
We look forward to welcoming everyone at the usual time for another great week ahead.
There are several exciting activities taking place: Year 7 will be taking part in Dhol drumming workshops, all students will hear from an inspirational speaker from the organisation Inner Spark, and we will also be awarding prizes for excellent attendance. #lovelacon
