Year 7 Open Evening -Thursday 25th September 2025 from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm and Sixth Form Open Evening – Thursday 13th November 2025 from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm

King Charles is open today Thursday 9th January for all year groups.

Students and staff must take great care when making their way to school as after the recent snowfall roads and pavements may be a cause for concern and should only be travelled if families and individuals consider it safe to do so in their particular circumstances.

Please report any absences in the usual way.

Parent Teacher Association

The PTA is made-up by a group of volunteers (parents and carers), supported by school staff, who fundraise for extra items and events to enrich the learning experience of the students at Lacon Childe School.

Each year we help to run several events including the Lacon Summer Fete and Race Night and we support the school productions and Winter Concert by running a bar and providing refreshments. We continue to run an on-line school lottery and we also have an easyfundraising page which is a simple way to raise funds when doing your on-line shopping, and have regular Rags 2 Riches collections and other fundraising activities throughout the year.

Rags 2 Riches

Fundraising for your school can be simple, eco-friendly, and completely free!
Rags 2 Riches 4 Schools is not a charity organisation. It is a business, which specialises in collecting from educational sectors. We pay for quality second-hand clothes, which are then sold to other businesses and become affordable clothing to help developing nations.

We will organise 2 collections each year – next date is 7th July 2026
